Protein/ BACON WAFFLES


Yes, you heard me right. This recipe will show you a very simple way to make waffles packed with protein and also taste amazing. Vitalize ambassador Matt Posselt eats these almost every morning, they are lower in carbs which supports his high protein/high fat diet.

 

Ingredients

1 cup "Kodiak Power Cakes" This mix is made up of: 100% whole grain wheat flour, 100% whole grain oat flour, non-fat sweet cream buttermilk, dried honey (honey, wheat starch), leavening, natural vanilla, egg whites, sea salt. NO cheap fillers!
1 cup 2% reduced-fat milk
4 bacon slices, cooked and crumbled
1 large egg, lightly beaten
Instructions
Add all ingredients into bowl, and wisk.
Depending on waffle maker, add between 1/3 cup to 1/2 cup of mixed batter and close.
Each waffle should take between 4-5 minutes to fully cook.
Add 1 tablespoon of organic grass fed butter to waffles.
